A man deceived by scammers traveled 700 kilometers to marry a married woman.

An elderly man from Belgium traveled over 700 kilometers to meet Sophie Vouzelaud, who placed second in the "Miss France" contest in 2007.

The 76-year-old Michel considered her to be his future wife, but in reality, he had been communicating with scammers for several weeks, reports the BBC.

The Journalists state that Michel arrived at Vouzelaud's home in France and claimed that he would become the next husband of the woman.
